Sunday School

At Bethlehem, we desire to partner with you to help your child know, love, and follow Jesus. We offer multiple adult education opportunities for parents, as well as youth and children’s classes. We have been blessed with a wonderful team of teachers who have a passion for Jesus and for your family. Children 3 years old through 12 grade grow in Christ through age-appropriate lessons and activities. We hope to engage students in Bible stories that follow the stories heard in church. This way families can continue learning and talking at home during the week. If your child is younger then three, they are always welcome in our nursery.

Children’s Sunday School begins in our 9:30 am Family Contemporary Service, with songs and a children’s message. Children and teachers then continue the lesson in their classes. The nursery and preschool classes are located off the courtyard, across from the worship center. The elementary, middle, and high school classes are located on the second floor, above Disciples’ Hall. Friends are always welcome to join us!

Our classes are growing in Christ by interacting with Old and New Testament Bible stories that all point to God's plan of salvation through Jesus. Classes run year-round, and focus on Old Testament stories in the fall and New Testament stories in the Winter and Spring. Summer classes are typically a mix of stories and activities. Our creative, caring ministry servants facilitate small classes that focus on discussion and fun activities that connect directly to the different Bible stories.

Our prayer is that children and youth will come away with a better understanding of God's Word, God's love for them, and how Jesus came into the world to save each and every one of them through His death and resurrection.
