Youth

It is truly amazing to see what happens when youth realize how BIG GOD IS! The youth ministry at Bethlehem exists to strengthen and enrich the faith of middle and high school youth.  To accomplish this we are focused on applying God’s Word in the lives of students through study, prayer, fellowship and mentoring.  Youth participate in events such as servant events, lock-ins, retreats, and district and synod gatherings.  

MISSION - West Virginia - 2012

The youth of BLC will be going to Logan, West Virginia from July 1st to July 8th 2012. All that have completed the eighth through twelfth grades through spring 2012 are invited and encouraged to attend. We will be helping repair homes for local residents and will be running a kids' camp. Please click here  for more information. S.A.F.T.

So you might be asking yourself, "What does S.A.F.T. stand for?" Great question! S.A.F.T. stands for Super Awesome Fun Time and is a time for eighth grade through high school friends to get together and do some really fun stuff. So far, we have played 3 hours of 4 square, gone on a trust walk, had a pickle eating contest, and acted out one of Jesus' parables. We also spend time talking about whatever we want to and exploring who Jesus really is. We'd love to hang out with you too!

Vicar Tim

My name is Tim Barone. I am the Vicar, which is like an intern, this year at Bethlehem.  I'm originally from Colorado Springs, and so naturally love to be outdoors any chance that I get to explore God's great creation. I live for good music! I'll listen to almost anything, but I especially have a passion for music that we can use to worship our God. I love playing all kinds of sports, but I especially like to play soccer and ultimate frisbee - sports that make you run! Other things I enjoy are: BBQing, working on cars, landscaping, riding my motorcycle, reading short stories, playing board games, and eating good food.  I am here this year to walk with you in your life. If there is ANYTHING I can do to help you in your faith journey, let me know!
